CSV was engaged by the City of Ottawa to provide architectural services for the renovation and expansion of the existing Beacon Hill North Community Centre. The 1,680 sq ft expansion will include two multi-purpose rooms, a full-size kitchenette, and universal washrooms to allow for increased recreational programming opportunities for the Rothwell Heights - Beacon Hill North community. A pricipal design feature is the use of large windows throughout to bring lots of natural light to indoor program areas.

The project also includes the development of a new courtyard partio adjacent to the existing main entrance of the building. The courtyard patio will be an iniviting entrance to the community centre and provide outdoor seating and activity space for community events.
