CSV was engaged to undertake the design of a light industrial millwork production facility for Laurysen Kitchens. The project included significant renovation to an existing foundry building, and the addition of a large Honco plant on an unoccupied portion of the approximately 7-acre site. This project will allow the Client to move their entire operation of plant employees and administration management staff to the Carleton Place location featuring new fabrication equipment using the latest technology. The Honco plant features multiple truck loading for shipping and receiving. A new two storey office wing is also being erected using traditional construction. The office wing features a Laurysen Kitchens Display Showroom and a large staff kitchen and an indoor café for staff lunch and gatherings. The site plan design includes providing the required areas for parking, adequate turning radii, routes of travel for large tractor trailer vehicles, and an outdoor amenity space for staff. The total Gross Floor Area is 109,217 sq ft.
